Bestor focused on creating a calm backdrop of Turk's vibrant print by including ivory silk tussah walls, white oak accents, scalloped floor tile and brass finishes. A swanky vintage 1970s Lightolier chandelier and pops of sunshine yellow add a special touch that reflects Turk's optimistic brand aesthetic. Bestor created a new kind of modern warmth and luxurious space, while still making sure the space is a shopping haven. As Trina Turk has been associated with modernist California and dazzling color, the store seeks to create a deep background of organic shapes, including wood and brass elements, with pops of sunset-colored wallpapers and fabric.
